We are a small, family run kennel situated in Malta. Our vision is that through selective breeding we produce pointers that are fit for purpose, by selecting sound and appropriate subjects to preserve the breed standard and in the same way manifesting a breed type. Our pointers will also be able to hunt and stand out in the showring.
We strive to get the best stock that we think it meets our mission and that is to produce dual purpose pointers.
All our dogs hunt on quails and woodcocks in the local seasons and also have achieved great results in the showring. This is evident as awards were constantly been awarded from FCI judges from all over Europe in local and foreign FCI championship shows .
We train or work our pointers on daily basis. Pointers also make wonderful pets. They are loyal, like to please and also like to be around especially children. Our dogs are kept as pets as well and they love doing what they are bred to do: Hunting and Showing.
Pointers are not natural retrievers and therefore we dedicate most of our training time in teaching them to retrieve both from land and sea, infect training is started from an early age. A finished Berseydale pointer will hunt on the whistle and retrieve to perfection and efficiently.
Finally we would like to thank all the breeders involved, in entrusting us with their fruits of success to join us and make Berseydale Pointers a future and successful kennel.
