Malta Kennel Club International Double CAC /CACIB Dog Show
Day 1 - Our home bred girl Joy - BPIS/ Res.BPIS Berseydale Joyful Anthem was best junior bitch JCAC and went to Res. Best Junior in Group.
Joy is now a Maltese Junior Champion
Day 2 - Our kiwi boy Kay has made us proud once again by winning his Champions class with 1st Excl CACIB, qualified for Crufts 2018, BOB, Best in Group from a very strong lineup and went on to Best in Show 4th.
Kay is now our first International Champion (temp. unofficial but according to FCI rules and regulations), #1 Top winning Pointer 2017 in Malta with 4 Best in Show placings in just 8 appearances in the ring.

After a long absence from the show ring our team has made a really great comeback.
Our boy Kay - BIS /RBIS Jnr Ch ShCh Chesterhope Kavallier Malti was 1st Excl in Male Champ class, Best Male, Best of Breed and finally went 3rd Best in Show from a very strong line up.
We can now confirm that Kay is officially the first pointer in the breed history in Malta with the most BIS placings, with 5 placings in his fulfilled show carrier so far apart from his multiple breed and group winnings. We are so ever bless to have him with us and we cannot thank his wonderful breeder Diane O'Neill for trusting us with this gem.
His daughter, our Joy - BPIS/ RBPIS Berseydale Joyful Anthem has also did us proud by placing as Best Bitch and Best Opposite Sex from her junior class grabbing her 2nd JCAC and one step closer to her Junior national title.

Thrilled is just an under statement as today our Berseydale kidos were for the first time shown as juniors and both achieved their first ticket for the junior title. To top it all up Joy went Best Bitch in breed from her junior class and went for the best of breed line up together with her father Kay!! We are extremely happy with this result!! Joy went Best Junior Bitch - JCAC, Best Bitch in Breed, Best Opposite Sex, Juan went Best Junior Dog - JCAC and Kay Best Male in Breed, Best Of Breed and Best in Group.
We would like to thank the judge Mr.Andras Korocz from Hungary for thinking so highly of our dogs and for his positive comments on our youngsters.

Another fabulous weekend ends with a good note, from a very nice entry of pointers, today our puppies and their father Kay has once again made their mark and made us proud on the green carpet at the Malta Kennel Club, FCI all breed Expo.

Kay - Res BIS /BIS Ch Jnr Ch Chesterhope Kavallier Malti - Best Male in Breed, BOB, BIG and once again placed BIS 4th.
Juan - Berseydale Flying Carol - Best male puppy, Best Puppy in Breed and Best Puppy in Group 7.
Joy - Res BPIS/ BPIS Berseydale Joyful Anthem - Best Female Puppy in Breed.

Great results achieved once again today 29th January 2017 at the CAC championship dog show organised by the Malta Kennel Club were Juan - Berseydale Flying Carol got best male puppy in breed, Joy - Berseydale Joyful Anthem went Best in puppy Group 7 and to top it all off in his first debut after returning from Finland, Kay - Chesterhope Kavallier Malti went BIS 3rd. Archie - Berseydale Brown Figworth, the boy from our first litter got 1st Open Male and gained another CAC ticket, getting closer to his national title. Thanks goes to the judge Mr Peter Harsanyi from Hungary for thinking so highly of our dogs and for his positive comments on our breeding.

News from our Finnish family as well, from Kaunas Int. show Fred - Berseydale Loud Concerto went Best of Breed Puppy under breed specialist Mr Rui Oliviera from Portugal. Once again we would like to thank the judge for his lovely comments stated on Fred after the show. What a lovely way to start the year off and what a weekend it was.

We are proud to announce that Kay will be living with our dearest friend Heidi in Finland for a short while and campaigned in the coming show season. He will be presented in the Finnish and Helsinki winner shows. We would like the wish this dedicated team the best of luck and success for great results.

Our latest news comes from Modica, Italy were our boy Kay won the champion class with 1st Excel, then winning Best Male in Breed and achieving his first CACIB and Best Opposite Sex. We would like to thank the judge Dr Domenico Tricomi for thinking so highly and writing a wonderful critique of our boy.

We are very pleased to welcome to our Berseydale family a litter of 5 lovely and healthy pups. 4 boys and a lovely girl. The litter was deliverd 2 days ago, on the 23rd of June 2016 by Luna - MBPIS Ch Franzini Carta and sired by our kiwi boy Kay - Res. BIS BIS/ ShCh Jnr Ch Chesterhope Kavallier Malti. We are very pleased with this much awaited litter. All puppies and mum are doing very well. Please feel free to send us any enquiries.

Our star of the moment, Kay - RBIS BIS/ ShCh Jnr Ch Chesterhope Kavallier Malti has gone Best of Breed once again last Sunday under UK all rounder judge Mr Mark Cocozza. This was our last show of the season and what a season it was!!
We would like to thank all the UK and European judges who have thought so highly of him during our local shows and Crufts 2016 of course!
A very special thanks also goes to Diane O'Neill for breeding and trusting us with Kay, which made her and ourselves proud with all his achievements in just only 2 years of showing and has now been listed in one of her foreign successes.

And yet, once again the kiwi boy done it again... Kay went Best of Breed and Res. Best in Group under honorable judge Mr Milivoie Zaza Omarov from Georgia at the Malta CAC Expo. So proud of our boy and forever grateful to his breeder Diane O'Neill for breeding such an exceptional boy!

Yet again our boy from New Zealand has made us proud.... Kay has grabbed the Gun dog group G1 under honorable UK judge Mr Martin Sanders. He also gained his last points for the Maltese title...way too proud of him as he performed beautifully!! We would like to thank Mr Sanders for thinking so highly of our boy and his breeder of course Diane O'Neill, which made it possible for Kay to come to us.

What a way to celebrate the greatest show on earth...Crufts 2016. Yes, yet again our boy Kay has done us and his breeder proud after winning the Mid Limit class, out of 16 beautiful dogs. He was placed 1st by the world renowned breed specialist Mr Rui Oliviera from Portugal. We would like to thank the judge for thinking so highly of our boy, our friends by the ringside which cheered to our win and have shared their lovely thoughts with us. It was a day to remember!

Today at the Malta Canine Society Championship show Kay was Best of Breed and went on to win the Gundog group over a lovely line up of high quality dogs. What a day it was today at the Maltese National Canine Federation Championship, Crufts 2016 qualifier Show.
Kay - BIS Jnr. Ch Chesterhope Kavallier Malti has yet again went to win the Gundog group G1 under UK judge Mr Steve Hall.

Our kiwi boy Kay - BIS Jnr. Ch. Chesterhope Kavallier Malti keeps on giving us thrills!!!
Today he gained his first points for the title after winning Best Male in Breed, Best of Breed and then went on to Best in Group under all round judge Mr Jean-Paul Kerihuel from France. Once again we cannot stress out how grateful we are of having been trusted with this wonderful boy by Diane O'Neill of the world famous Chesterhope Kennels. We also would like to thank the judge for thinking so highly of our boy.

We are thrilled and over the moon, to say the least that our boy Kay - BIS Jnr Ch Chesterhope Kavalier Malti had gone Best Male in Breed and Best Opposite Sex from a lovely entry of quality dogs at the Milan World Dog Show, Pointer Speciality Competition. What an achievement for our young boy, winning all this from his junior class at just 15 months.
We would like to thank his breeder Diane O'Neill for breeding such a fantastic boy, his handlers Adrian Hili and Keith Galea for take great care and presenting Kay to perfection and with great professionalism. Last but not least we would like to thank the honorable judge, breed specialist Mr Gianni Flugenzi ( Allevamento del Guardengo) for thinking so highly of our boy.

More positive results achieved today at the Malta National CAC April Championship show with both Kay and Primo winning their respective classes over some good competition and Primo grabbing his final CAC to conclude his full Maltese title. This was a positive achievement to our kennel as we have now officially produced a full Maltese champion. We would like to thank the judge Mr Gunnar Nymann from Denmark for thinking so highly of our boys.

Yet another memorable experience.........
During today's dog show, 29th March, organised by the Malta Kennel Club Kay - Jnr Ch Chesterhope Kavallier Malti won Best In Show in all Breeds Championship Show under honorable judge Mr Alexei Belkin from Russia at just 13 months of age.
What a great achievement for Berseydale Pointers. Thanks to the judge for thinking so highly of him and a heartfelt thanks to his breeder Diane O'Neill who has trusted us with such a fantastic boy.

Our latest event was Crufts 2015 and for the first time this was our first international appearence. Kay was shown in the junior class which had the largest entry in the breed on the day, with 16 entries. Kay was not placed but we had quite a lovely and positive responce from the ring side. As uasual Crufts offered a thrilling experience and was the event to meet our pointer friends from the UK and all over the world. We were lucky to meet Eva Maria Backer from Germany, Jaime Fernandez from Spain and a couple of UK breeders/friends such as Steve Rose, Claire Stokes, Ruth Booth and many others. We also got Zen with us to give a lovely surprise to his breeder Flo Barker of Flinhill pointers, which hosted us for 2 days at her place. Flo made our stay a memorable one and we had to meet her present litter of 12 beautiful puppies by Evie and Mr Woof and also the rest of the Flinthill gang. We are so looking forward for next year's Crufts to meet once again with our lovely friends, show dogs and hopefully meet as well for thje first time with our Kiwi friends.

A special day today at the Malta CAC Championship Expo, Kay - Mt. Jnr. Ch. Chesterhope Kavallier Malti once again winning his junior class and Primo - Mt. Jnr. Ch. Berseydale Black Nightshade winning 2nd in Intermediate class. Both boys did very well but Kay was the star of the day and we are so proud of him. He showed very well and with confidence. A BIG thanks goes to our friend Keith Galea who handled Primo to perfection and for the judge Ms Zoia Olienikova from Ukraine.

What a fantastic way to start the year for our pointers. The results of today's show 26th January 2015 at the Malta CAC Championship Show organised by the Malta Kennel Club are, Primo went 1st Excl. in his class and Kay, at the age of 11 months was 1st Excl. Male Junior, Best Male in Breed and Best Opposite Sex in Breed and is now officially a Maltese Junior Champion. We are more then happy with this result. A big thank you goes to the judge Mr Espen Engh from Norway for thinking so highly of our boys.

Very encouraging results achieved this weekend, 29th /30th November, at the Malta Double CAC/CACIB International Dog Show. In Day 1, our new boy Kay has gone 1st Excel. Junior male, Best Junior in Breed, Jnr CAC, qualified for Crufts 2015 and short listed in the Best Junior in show lineup. Our home bred Primo went 1st Excel. in Intermediate class, 2nd Best Male in Breed, awarded CAC and Res. CACIB.
Day 2, Kay once again was 1st Excel Junior male, Best Junior opposite sex and awarded his 2nd Jnr CAC. Primo 1st Excl. Intermediate, 2nd Best male in Breed, awarded his 3rd CAC and 2nd Res. CACIB. Kay is just 1 Jnr CAC away from the junior title and Primo 1 CAC away from his full Maltese title. We are very pleased with these fantastic results and would like to thank judges Mr Peter Machetanz from Germany and Mr Tino Pehar from Croatia for thinking so highly of our wonderful boys.

A super start to our show season today at the October 14 Mata Kennel Club CAC all breed Champion ship Show with Kay who went Best Puppy in Breed and on to Best Puppy in Group 7. Primo was placed 1st in Intermidiate class and on to place 3 best male in breed. We would like to thanks honourable judge Mr Boris Spoljaric for thinking so highly of our boys.

What a way to end the show season before summer fall. Wonderful result achieved today 1st June14, at the Malta CAC all breed Expo, our young man Primo - Jnr Ch Berseydale Black Nightshade was 1st Excl, CAC, BOB and went for best in Group 7. We are over the moon with this result after winning over a very good line up of quality dogs in the breed and more prestigious in the group line up, at just 1 year 5 months. We would like to thank the judge Mr.Erwin Deutscher from Austria for thinking so highly of Primo and placing him so high.
Luna - MBPIS Ch Franzini Carta went 2nd Excl in champion's class and Zen - Ch Flinthill Bracken got 1st Excl in Veteran dog.

What a great weekend it was for Berseydale Pointers at the Malta CAC/CACIB Malta Double Expo. Day 1, Primo - Berseydale Black Nightshade placed as best Junior in Breed,1st Exc, Jnr CAC and qualified for Crufts 2014 and Luna - Franzini Carta was placed Best Female Open, 1st Excl, Res.CAC, Res.CACIB and qualified for Crufts 2014 as well.
Day 2 - Primo once again was best juniour in breed, 1st Excl, Jnr CAC and and became our first Maltese Junior Champion. Luna was placed 1st in Open class, 1st Excl, Res.CAC and Res CACIB as well. What an achievement after a long preparation and hard work for this great show. We are more then thrilled with this wonderful result and would like to thank Mr Jose Vidal Montero and Ms Anca Giura for these lovely awards.

Fabulous results, today 20th October, at the first CAC Expo. of the season organised by the Malta Kennel Club were our Primo was 1st Junior dog in class and awarded Jnr. What a way to begin the show carrier for our first Berseydale pup, Primo - Today, 5th May 2013, at the Malta CAC championship Expo. our Primo went Res. Best Puppy in Show under judge Ms Olga Grin from Russia. He was picked from a long lineup of high quality pups. What an exiting day it was !! We are so pleased with the result, even more as it was Primo's first show appearence. We would like to thank the judge for thinking so highly of our special boy.

More great results achieved in last November's Malta International CAC/CACIB Championship Show. Luna - Franzini Carta was awarded 1st Exc., CACIB, got her 3rd CAC and also had qualified for Crufts 2013 by Austrian judge Ms Monica Blaha. What an achievement!! This means that Luna is just one CAC away from her title. Way to go Luna!! We would like to thank the judge for thinking so highly of our girl!

What a great way to end the Maltese show season with Zen winning BOB from a very good entry and then went on to Res. Group 7 at the Malta CAC Championship Expo judged by Ms Annika Ulveit-Moe from Sweden. We would like to thank the judge for this award.

Once again Berseydale Pointers has dominated the breed this weekend at the April FCI CAC Championship Show organised by the Malta Kennel Club, with Luna winning BOB from a very good line up and Zen winning Best Male in breed and then Best Opposite Sex. For the second time this year Berseydale Pointers have competed against each other for the BOB title. We are very proud of these results and we thank the judge, Mr Luis Catalan from Portugal for thinking so highly of our dogs.

Great day again for Berseydale Pointers, today 26th Feb, with Zen winning Best Male in Breed and Best Opposite Sex and Luna, at an age of 1 yr 6 mths winning Best of Breed and also picked as Best in Group 7 from a very good line up of gundogs, then again was placed as Best In Show 3rd place in the lineup at the Malta FCI CAC Expo. under the all round judge Mr Petr Rehanek from the Czech. Republic. We would like to thank the judge for his lovely comments and thoughts of our precious dogs.

At the first Malta FCI CAC Expo. of the season, today 16th October, Luna was awarded with a Junior CAC and Zen placed second in the champions class. The show was judged by Mr Claudio De Giuliano from Italy. We would like to thank Mr De Giuliano for this result.

Another success for Berseydale Pointers today at the Malta FCI CAC Expo., judged by Ms Kornelija Butrimova from Lithuania. Zen was Best of Breed and then went on to win group 7. Luna was also awared with Best Puppy in Breed and Best in Puppy Group 7. Pete was awarded 2nd in Champions class, placing after his buddy Zen. What a great way to end the season. We would like to thank the judge for this lovely result.
